Platform fee will increase in May.
Apr 11, 2023
Due to the higher costs of bandwidth, hosting, streaming and payment providers, we are unfortunately forced to increase the platform fee. Existing content creators with an active Vloggii page will keep the current platform fee of 15%.
From May 1, we will increase the platform fee to 18% (now it is 15%). Unfortunately, we are obliged to do this to cover the high costs we have to keep the platform running.
Content creators who have an active Vloggii page before May 1st will be exempt from this increase. They will keep the current 15%.
If you are planning to become a content creator, you would do well to convert your account to a creators account before the end of April.
In summary, this means that new creators who sign up after May 1 pay the new platform fee and thus keep 82% of their revenue. Existing creators keep their 85% revenue.
We hope you understand that there was no other option than to increase the platform fee to cover the costs.
If you have any questions you can always contact us.
